New Recipient Stories
Tonya Hayward and Dice

Hi, my name is Tonya Hayward and I live in North Wilkesboro NC. I was diagnosed in February of 2006 with MS. I walk with two canes, two knee braces, two wrist braces, and hearing aids full time. I also use a wheelchair at times.

By September of 2006 I was told that I had been undiagnosed for at least seventeen years. I ignored my symptoms of numbness as working too hard, joint pain from running track, as well as cloudy white spots with my vision: I just figured it was from working as a secretary on computers.

Ihave sever balance and joint pain. There are constant spasms throughout my muscles in my hands, feet and lower back. I also suffer from numbness that occurs without notice, memory issues and a slight speech impairment.

I know that God graced me with this disease, and He will heal me when it is the correct time. Until then, I need help from Dice. We are meant to be together. Please help make this happen. Please send a donation to NLMAD. Thank you.
