Volunteer

Volunteers are one of our most valuable assets. We must attribute so much of our success to the dedication of our volunteers. We welcome volunteers of all ages, from teens to retirees.

We need volunteers to help clean kennels and pens, to sweep and mop the dog room, to exercise and groom dogs, to make phone calls, to fold and label newsletters, and to help with various other tasks.

If you would like to volunteer for any of these tasks, please contact us.

We also occasionally have need of good homes to raise promising puppies. If you are willing and able to raise a puppy for future assistance dog training, please contact us.

For more information, see our page about Puppy Raisers

How do you raise a pup to be an assistance dog? Jim and Sue Taylor have raised Phoebe, a Golden Retriever. We show you how they did it, with photos and comments from Jim, in

The Golden Tails of Phoebe
